Dear Lighthouse Church Family,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate your support, prayers, and patience during this unprecedented time.

Little did we realize how long this process would take when we put a hold on our in-person Sunday services, children’s programs, and Bible study groups back in March. As you can imagine, the task of reopening our church for Sunday worship has taken a lot more consideration than closing things down for a while.

As many of you are aware, as soon as Schuylkill County began its movement into the yellow phase, our church leadership team began fervent prayers and numerous conversations as we sought the best way to minister to you, our church family. In considering the recommendations from Governor Wolf and the CDC and observing other sister churches, it was decided that we would cautiously reopen our church building for worship services. This now means that The Lighthouse Church is accessible to whomever wants to come and receive the Word in person on Sundays at 9 AM and Tuesdays at 7 PM (at their own risk and in adherence to TLC’s safety guidelines, listed below).

We want to assure you that we are taking all of the necessary safety precautions to ensure that, if you decide to come, your physical health is a top priority. For example, masks will be worn (while moving about the church), hand sanitizer will be provided, social distancing will be in place, a waiver form will be distributed, and neither children’s ministry nor nursery will be running at this time. For more information, please reference “Our Safety Precautions” sheet.

If you or your family feel unready right now to join us in person, please know that we both understand and respect your decision. Please do what you believe is best for you and your loved ones. Our heart is to have all of you connect with God and draw closer to Him during our services, whether that be in person or online, because wherever we are, we know that “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” (John 4:24 NIV). That being said, our online streaming will go on as normal! Tune in via our church website, YouTube channel or Facebook page on Sundays at 9 AM and on Tuesdays at 7 PM.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us! We are here for you!

In Christ,

The Lighthouse Church Leadership Team
